With a lifelong passion for the comics industry, Trainor helped found Penny Farthing Productions in 1998. Creator of the PFP flagship title The Victorian, Trainor’s creativity and vision have been instrumental in shaping the company. A known leader in design and communication, he works with artists and writers to create complex and visually impactful worlds. With the firm belief that high-quality and unique art should be shared with all our readers, his imagination knows no bounds.

Don’t be fooled by her wit, wisdom, and warm smile. Valerie is affectionately known as

“Valactica” by those careless enough to turn in sloppy work.

Courtney Huddleston

VP of Media Relations and Project Developer

An artist since he was a child, Courtney started at PFP as its sole artist in 1998. As the company expanded, he began making crucial connections within the comics industry to secure major talent for our titles. A part of the original staff, Courtney is responsible for managing talent communication, assembling creative teams, and the constant collaboration amongst the team for the entirety of a project’s lifespan to ensure its success.

Pamela “PJ” Johnston

Corporate Office Director

Pam Johnston has been with the company since 2004. She ensures PFP headquarters runs smoothly by maintaining office services, organizing office operations and procedures, and designing systems that increase office efficiency. Pam’s attention to detail, meticulousness, and ability to juggle several tasks at once guarantees a project will be completed successfully and on time.

Andre Mc Bride

Graphic Designer

Andre joined Penny Farthing Productions in 2003 after graduating from Stephen F. Austin State University with a degree in advertisement design and marketing. An avid photographer, he brings his creativity to the organization with his deft use of art, copy, lettering, and arrangement skills. A vital asset to the company, Andre is responsible for producing ad design and preparing/finalizing design and page layout for our publications.

Doc Kennon

IT Senior Management

Doc has been our long time consultant on all things technical since the very beginning of Penny-Farthing Productions. Always at the ready, he is an invaluable member of the Penny-Farthing family. Sidenote, not 100% sure if he is, or has ever been an actual doctor BUT he does have a fantastic head of hair.

Selma Medina

Accounts Manager

Selma is the best there is at what she does and what she does is keep us in line with her whiz bang financial planning. At first glance it might seem boring, and it kinda is, but she also happens to be the most interesting person in the world. We’re very lucky to have her.
